Taylor Swift fans on Rogers\u2019 5G network shattered the record for sharing and streaming the most content ever at a single event at Rogers Centre, the company says.<\/p>\n

During Swift\u2019s Eras Tour show on Nov. 21, Swift fans with Rogers used 7.4 terabytes of mobile data in just a few hours.<\/p>\n

The company said in a news release Monday that data usage is the equivalent of uploading 182,000 photos and 1,600 hours of video streaming.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift fans on the Rogers 5G network shattered the record for sharing and streaming the most content ever at a single event at Rogers Centre \u2013 using 7.4 terabytes (TB) of mobile data in just a few hours.<\/p>\n

This record-breaking traffic on November 21 is the equivalent of uploading 182,000 photos and 1,600 hours of video streaming.<\/p>\n

This fall, Rogers completed an $8 million upgrade to its 5G network at Rogers Centre to bring the best fan experience. The company installed the latest technology to deliver three times more 5G network capacity throughout the stadium \u2013 the equivalent coverage of 33 towers in downtown Toronto.<\/p>\n

Swift fans on the Rogers 5G network experienced download speeds 2.7 times faster and upload speeds 3.8 times faster than at the Diljit Dosanjh performance in July 2024. Dosanjh fans consumed 5.4TB of data, setting a new record at the time, before Rogers completed the network upgrades.<\/p>\n

5G technology is critical for today\u2019s concert experiences, providing faster speeds, lower latency and more capacity, as large numbers of fans livestream and share the moment in real-time.
