    The holidays are about to look a little different for\u00a0Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u00a0this year. Since announcing their engagement on August 26 with photos of the\u00a0romantic, rose-covered proposal\u00a0set-up complete with\u00a0Swift\u2019s 10-carat engagement ring, the couple has been\u00a0deep in wedding planning mode\u2014and according to sources, Swift and Kelce are prioritizing spending as much time together as possible while also incorporating their families into the celebration.<\/p>\n

    Since Kelce has Kansas City Chiefs games on his schedule for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, the couple\u2019s holiday plans will be \u201cvery low-key, family-centric and [won\u2019t involve any] major travel,\u201d<\/em> an inside source told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0in a story published on Wednesday, October 29. The Chiefs will be playing at the Dallas Cowboys\u2019 AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving before heading back to Arrowhead Stadium for their Christmas day game, meaning fans might see Swift cheering on her fianc\u00e9 in the stands.<\/p>\n

    Despite Kelce’s busy football schedule, the source revealed that both Swift and the athlete are planning to split time with their families to celebrate these holidays.<\/p>\n

    Considering the Swift family previously hosted the Kelces for a Thanksgiving in Nashville, and Travis and Taylor spent Mother\u2019s Day with both their moms in Philadelphia, it\u2019s also possible that they might make these celebrations a joint family affair.<\/p>\n

    \u201cTravis fits right in with her family, and Taylor adores [his mom] Donna. They talk all the time,\u201d the source added. \u201cThey make sure to see both sides as often as they can. They are super family-oriented, and they have always loved that about one another.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
