According to Daily Star, Los Blancos are preparing a record \u20ac130 million (\u00a3130M) bid to land Manchester City midfielder Rodri Hern\u00e1ndez even if it means sacrificing key squad members to make it happen.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso Wants a True Pivot \u2014 Not Just Depth<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Real Madrid boast major midfield names like Aur\u00e9lien Tchouam\u00e9ni and Fede Valverde, neither fits the exact role Xabi Alonso is craving. Since Toni Kroos\u2019s departure, the team has lacked a true midfield conductor a positional controller capable of dictating tempo from deep.<\/p>\n

Attempts to adapt Arda G\u00fcler into that role have shown promise, but his natural profile is more vertical and attacking, unlike Kroos\u2019s calm orchestration.<\/p>\n
