Francisco Lindor<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0New York Mets<\/a>\u00a0were one of the more disappointing teams across the\u00a0MLB<\/a>\u00a0this season. They finished the year with an 83-79 record, which saw them finish 13 games behind the\u00a0Philadelphia Phillies<\/a>\u00a0in the NL East, and also miss out on the playoffs despite spending over\u00a0$342 million on the roster<\/a>\u00a0this season alone.<\/p>\n

Lindor, 31, was a bright spot this season as he was named to his fifth All-Star team, and also hit .267 with 31 home runs, 86 RBIs and 31 stolen bases. However, the star shortstop wasn\u2019t the only member of his family to capture the hearts of Mets fans this season, as his wife, Katia, dazzled with her ability to play the violin.<\/p>\n

She performed the national anthem ahead of the team\u2019s Sept. 16 clash with the\u00a0San Diego Padres<\/a>, which was also the night that her husband was revealed as the nominee for the Roberto Clemente\u00a0Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Katia\u2019s violinist skill set has also helped her make waves in the music industry, as it was recently revealed that she will have the chance to play at Carnegie Hall.<\/p>\n

As expected, her MLB star husband was extremely proud, taking to Instagram to congratulate her.<\/p>\n
