An NBA insider recently revealed when the Golden State Warriors could enter the trade mix for Giannis Antetokounmpo amid ongoing trade rumors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Golden State Warriors<\/a>\u00a0are set to enter the 2025-26\u00a0NBA<\/a>\u00a0season as a team expected to be a contender in the Western Conference behind their star trio of\u00a0Stephen Curry<\/a>,\u00a0Draymond Green<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jimmy Butler<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, it was an underwhelming first few months of the offseason for the Warriors as they failed to make any additions to their roster as they continued to have a contract dispute with\u00a0Jonathan Kuminga<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That all changed on September 30 as Golden State signed Kuminga to a new two-year contract, ending the ongoing saga between the two sides.<\/p>\n

After signing Kuminga, the Warriors then signed Al Horford, Seth Curry, Gary Payton II and De\u2019Anthony Melton in free agency to upgrade their roster ahead of the start of the new season.<\/p>\n

With these moves, the Warriors are looking to clinch a top seed in the West and make a run at another championship.<\/p>\n

Warriors Continue to be Linked to Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/h2>\n

While Golden State tries to make another title run this season, they continue to be in trade rumors surrounding\u00a0Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>\u00a0star\u00a0Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was reported on Tuesday by ESPN\u2019s Shams Charania that the\u00a0New York Knicks<\/a>\u00a0emerged as the only team Giannis desired outside of the Bucks this offseason and that his future in Milwaukee is still uncertain.<\/p>\n

While the Knicks were revealed to be a team that Giannis was interested in, the Warriors continue to be one of many other teams linked to the superstar forward, though an NBA insider recently revealed that a trade this season is highly unlikely.<\/p>\n

Insider Reveals Potential Timeline for Warriors\u2019 Pursuit of Giannis<\/h2>\n

According to ClutchPoints\u2019 Brett Siegel, the Warriors would have to give up either Green or Butler in a trade for Giannis due to salary reasons and with them likely not looking to move either one of them, a trade is unlikely to happen this season.<\/p>\n
