Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0star\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0and teammate Patrick Mahomes were the victims of burglaries last month, and it appears investigators have made a breakthrough in the former\u2019s case.<\/p>\n

A watch belonging to the star tight end has been recovered in Providence, Rhode Island, nearly 1,400 miles from his home.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0ABC News, the watch was found amid investigators\u2019 quest to bring a close to a series of break-ins, including those at the homes of Kelce, Mahomes, and\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0defensive tackle Linval Joseph.<\/p>\n

Still, it hasn\u2019t been confirmed that the timepiece was stolen during the burglary on October 7. Initial reports noted that the sum of $20,000 was stolen, but there was no mention of a watch.<\/p>\n

The Cass County Sheriff\u2019s Office and Leawood Police Department are investigating the incidents, with the FBI reportedly assisting.<\/p>\n
