Thomas Frank has issued a fresh injury update ahead of Tottenham\u2019s Premier League meeting with Wolves this weekend, as Spurs prepare for a key fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n
Tottenham returned to winning ways in midweek with a convincing 3-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup third round. It was a dominant performance despite Frank rotating his line-up, with Spurs comfortably booking their place in the fourth round, where they will face Newcastle United. Attention now shifts back to the league as Wolves visit North London on Saturday night in a clash between third and twentieth in the table.<\/p>\n
Ahead of the game, Frank confirmed that Tottenham will still be without James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin and Yves Bissouma, all of whom remain sidelined. There are also lingering doubts over Randal Kolo Muani, Kota Takai and Dominic Solanke, though the trio are edging closer to fitness.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the club\u2019s official media channel, Frank explained: \u201cLatest is that everyone who was available from the last league game is available again. In midweek, Pape [Matar Sarr] was out as a precaution; he\u2019s trained today, so that\u2019s a positive. Kolo Muani\u2019s dead leg is dragging on; he\u2019ll be out for a few more days. Dom is not available.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Solanke\u2019s situation, he added: \u201cDominic\u2019s ankle injury has been a little bit tricky. It\u2019s not too big. Hopefully he\u2019ll be back quick. It\u2019s not perfect, but we are going forward in the right direction.\u201d Regarding Kolo Muani, Frank explained: \u201cIt happened in training. I think Pape ran into him, so you have to blame Pape.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Spurs boss also offered a positive update on Radu Dragusin: \u201cHe\u2019s progressing well. He\u2019s been on the grass for three weeks now. He is on track. It will be some weeks before he is able to be involved.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tottenham go into Saturday\u2019s fixture aiming to return to league-winning form after a hard-fought draw against Brighton in their previous Premier League outing. While Wolves remain bottom of the table and without a victory so far this season, Frank will be wary of any complacency as his side look to keep pace at the top.<\/p>\n
