According to Tottenham Hotspur News, winger Wilson Odobert could head out on loan in January. The 20-year-old former France youth international joined in 2024 and has since made 26 appearances across all competitions, scoring three times.<\/p>\n
Ex-Spurs scout Bryan King commented on his situation:
\n\u201cI would imagine they\u2019ll be talking about a loan move. Certainly Odobert and his agent will be wanting to know how he\u2019s going to get games under his belt. For me, I don\u2019t think he\u2019s ever going to be first choice at Spurs, and definitely not at this stage of his career. He\u2019s going to be wanting to play games, and that isn\u2019t going to happen at Tottenham at the moment. A loan would be the best option for him really.\u201d<\/p>\n
Odobert adds depth and pace in attack but isn\u2019t assured of regular minutes. Having developed at PSG before moving to Troyes and then Burnley\u2014where he made 34 appearances and scored five goals\u2014he has shown promise. Spurs now face a decision, as a loan spell would give him consistent playing time.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on the draw at Brighton, Frank highlighted the resilience of his side:
\n\u201cI think the headline from me is \u2018mentality\u2019. I said it to the players beforehand, a game like this is pure mentality. Of course, we need tactics, structure, details, all that, but to really want to achieve something, you need to be so strong here.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you go away after a Champions League game, that demands everything from you \u2013 and then we decided to really test ourselves by getting down 2-0! The way we started the game \u2013 wow. Coming away from home against Brighton, a good team, we were just completely dominating them, then out of nowhere they score. We can do better, but it\u2019s also a marginal offside.<\/p>\n
