\nKelce and Swift confirmed their relationship to the world when the singer appeared at a\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0game at Arrowhead Stadium in the first month of the 2023\u00a0NFL\u00a0season.<\/p>\n

However, per Kelce\u2019s next-door neighbor in the exclusive gated community of Leawood, Kansas City, Wes Bermann, the star couple dated long before that.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s an enigma \u2013 on one hand, he\u2019s like this big, tough\u00a0football\u00a0player,\u201d Bermann said on the\u00a0RHAP podcast\u00a0with Michele Fitzgerald and Kellie Naldbandian last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the other, he\u2019s going to have about 12\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0songs written about him.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay and on that note, I was like the first person to know about any of this stuff.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I tried to tell this women (Fitzgerald) a long time ago \u201cthey are together, just so you know\u201d and she didn\u2019t believe it!<\/p>\n

\u201cShe didn\u2019t believe it, she was like \u201cshe only goes for artists\u201d. I beat the validating of her showing up to games and stuff by six months.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the\u00a0summer\u00a0of 2023, Kelce revealed on his\u00a0New Heights podcast that he got to see Swift perform in Kansas City and wanted to give her his number after the concert.<\/p>\n

However, Kelce shared that he found out at the show that he wouldn\u2019t meet her.<\/p>\n

During that December, Swift told TIME magazine about how she first met Kelce.
