Entering Week 2 NFL action, the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to bounce back from a tough Week 1 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. In order to bounce back, the Chiefs will need to get revenge for their loss in the Super Bowl.
That’s right, Kansas City is set to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium.
It’s a game that has been circled on the calendar for both of the teams and fans. Seeing these two teams go at it after the Eagles completely dismantled the Chiefs in the Super Bowl should provide must-watch football.
After losing in Week 1, there are legitimate concerns about Kansas City. With that in mind, they have been linked to an intriguing trade idea that could cement them as Super Bowl contenders once again.
Kansas City Chiefs Linked to Huge Trade That Could Cement Super Bowl Contender Status
There are a few areas that could use improvement for the Chiefs. One of those positions comes at wide receiver, especially after Xavier Worthy went down with a shoulder injury.
He may not miss a lot of time, but pursuing another weapon for Patrick Mahomes is always a worthy investment.
Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report has suggested that Kansas City could be an ideal trade suitor for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

Jennings may not end up being made available by the 49ers. After going through a small contract dispute, the two sides were able to work things out. However, if he were placed on the trade block, the Chiefs could make perfect sense.
Last season in 15 games with San Francisco, Jennings caught 77 passes for 975 yards and six touchdowns. He’s more than capable of being a No. 1 or No. 2 wide receiver. Giving that kind of presence to Mahomes would help take the Kansas City offense up another notch.
While this is just an idea, it’s one that would make sense for the Chiefs. Whether or not it will actually be an option remains to be seen.
