When the Miami Heat sent Kevin Love to the Utah Jazz earlier this offseason, most people expected his stay would be short.

Sure enough, it sounds like the Jazz are still planning to part ways with him soon.

According to Sam Amico, the Jazz are expected to buy out Love within the next two weeks.

Just because he won’t be with Utah doesn’t mean Love will be leaving the NBA.

Last season, Love averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds for the Heat, playing in 23 games and averaging 10.9 minutes per game.

He is now 37 years old and surely getting closer to the end of his storied career.

Since entering the league in 2008-09, Love has played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat.

He won a championship with the Cavaliers in 2016 and has been an All-Star five times and earned the 2010-11 Most Improved Player of the Year.

It didn’t seem like Love would be in Utah for a long time, and there is a ton of speculation about where he will go next.

There have been rumors of him moving to a big market, such as Los Angeles or New York.

Some people have predicted a reunion with LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Wherever he lands, he will bring his years of expertise and experience, and could be a helpful bench player.

Before anything becomes official, the Jazz have to buy Love out and make him available to other teams.

It sounds like they will do that soon, and then he can find his next, and perhaps last, home in the NBA.
