Better than Arda Güler and supported by Messi: Florentino Pérez is working day and night to sign him!

Real Madrid are struggling to build attacks after the departure of Toni Kroos, with coach Carlo Ancelotti experimenting with various midfield formations, but they have not achieved the desired results. The absence of a midfielder with high vision and technique has exposed a clear deficiency that the team needs to address before the 2025 season.

The loss of Kroos was a significant blow to the team’s tactical structure, and attempts to find a suitable replacement have not been successful. In light of this, Florentino Pérez has begun to rethink previous decisions that may have greatly impacted the team’s current situation.

One of the most notable of these decisions, according to information from the Spanish newspaper “Marca”, was the departure of Nico Paz, the young midfielder who moved to the Italian club Como in search of more playing opportunities.

Nico Paz has been impressing in Serie A since his transfer last summer, and his stellar performances earned him a call-up to the Argentine national team under Lionel Scaloni. Paz has received widespread praise, including from the legendary Lionel Messi, who described him as “fantastic” and commended his maturity and technical ability, saying: “He is a young man who is growing quickly, with a great mind and a bright future.”

Paz’s talent has not gone unnoticed, and now Real Madrid are reconsidering their decision to let him go. Last summer, Florentino Pérez sold 50% of Nico Paz’s rights to Como for just over €6 million, a relatively small amount given his recent performances. With Kroos gone, having a player like Nico Paz in midfield could have been a significant solution for Ancelotti, but Real Madrid will have to wait until 2025 to attempt to bring him back.

Pérez is starting to regret his decision to let Nico Paz leave, as he could have become a key player during this crucial time. While Paz continues to shine in Italy, Real Madrid are in dire need of a midfielder who can fill the void left by Kroos. Over time, Pérez will likely have to reassess his transfer decisions to strengthen the midfield. Given Messi’s praise and Paz’s potential, it seems clear that the 20-year-old is a key talent that should not have been let go so easily.
