Since coming to the Chicago Bulls from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Josh Giddey has been a huge help and seems like he could be a long-term part of the team’s future.

But Giddey knows he’s worth a lot, and wants to be paid accordingly.

According to Bobby Marks, the Bulls have now increased their previous offer to Giddey and are willing to give him a four-year, $88 million deal.

However, Giddey wants something closer to $30 million a year, so the two sides aren’t seeing eye-to-eye, at least not yet.

The Bulls are softening their stance, but they still aren’t where Giddey wants them to be.

However, he doesn’t have many options because there aren’t other teams in the league who currently have the cap space to sign him.

Giddey believes that he could continue to be Chicago’s best player and feels his first season with them was just the beginning.

He averaged 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists on 46.5 percent from the field during his opening year with the Bulls.

He wants to do even more in the years ahead and hopes for a long-term commitment that will pay him what he feels he deserves.

However, the Bulls have to consider their other salaries and the plans they have.

They cannot blow all their spending cash on Giddey because it would leave them with very few options for other stars.

Giddey is actually lucky that the Bulls are offering him more than they were.

That is a sign of how much they value him and how much they hope he sticks around.

But they might not be able to budge anymore, and Giddey has to consider that.

To make an extension happen, both sides may need to compromise.
