Trevon Diggs got the munchies during the Cowboys-Eagles weather delay on Thursday night and headed into the Lincoln Financial Field suites in search of food.
The season-opening fixture between the NFC East rivals was suspended for around an hour due to weather concerns, with lightning going off in the area during the third quarter.
NBC Sports’ Melissa Stark would reveal during the break that the Cowboys cornerback had wandered into a suit to announce he was hungry and was actually offered food by Philly fans, which he was apparently ready to accept.
Fortunately for Diggs and the rest of his teammates, a cart of cold cuts and Uncrustables was taken to the Dallas locker room, and Diggs was said to be very excited.
“He was very excited,” Stark said. “They had Uncrustables in there, they’re staying hydrated. So that’s the Cowboys update.”

Diggs was seen trailing the cart on its way to the locker room.
Before the delay, offenses were firing on all cylinders, but defenses had the upper hand after the teams resumed play.
At least they didn’t have to go back on an empty stomach.
