Warriors 4x champion could be moved in favor of elite two-way, Finals MVP wing

Golden State Warriors Star Joins Big Role in NBPA

The Golden State Warriors have been one of the most dominant teams in basketball for the past decade, accumulating four championships with a core group of players.

Stephen Curry has, of course, been the leader of the team, with teammates alongside him that fit perfectly.

As time continues to move on, it may be important for the Warriors to consider breaking up the core, much like they did when they allowed Klay Thompson to leave in free agency.

Adding help alongside Curry by bringing in a guy like Jaylen Brown could be beneficial, allowing Curry to have some help on the offensive side of the ball.

All it would take is Draymond Green, Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski, and Gui Santos, in exchange for the Finals MVP.

The Boston Celtics may be open to trades now that Jayson Tatum is out for the season, and could use this upcoming year to re-strategize.

When the Dubs added Jimmy Butler, their sights were clear: to win yet another championship.

Butler certainly strengthened their rotation, but like Curry, he is getting up there in age.

While it may be hard to move on from Draymond, a cornerstone of this team, bringing in a more gifted player offensively could be exactly what the front office needs to do to compete for a championship.

Although it wouldn’t make a huge difference, the Warriors could also use this opportunity to allow Quinten Post to make the leap, finally giving them a true center.

From Boston’s point of view, they could use Green as a one-year rental, or even flip him right after.

Podziemski and Moody could be pieces they hold on to long-term as they continue to develop their game.

This trade would take some guts, two huge organizations coming together to shock the league, but it could benefit both teams.
