Stephen Curry needs as much help as possible entering the 2025-26 season.

The clock is ticking for the aging Golden State Warriors stud, which should compel the Dubs to go above and beyond to appease the 37-year-old four-time NBA champion.

In Blue Man Hoop’s G.C. Bellchamber’s opinion, Golden State should consider trading for a two-time All-Star to help Curry win ring No. 5.

“As the Golden State Warriors have sought to surround superstar Stephen Curry with a championship-worthy supporting cast, it seems as though there will be no holds barred over the next couple of seasons on the trade front,” Bellchamber wrote Sunday.

“Therefore, while it only remains a remote possibility for now, the Memphis Grizzlies’ current volatility and the possibility of their eventual willingness to entertain a trade for Jaren Jackson Jr., should certainly be on the Warriors’ radar as this season develops.”

“Following a first-round pummeling at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Grizzlies have decided to move forward with their core of Jackson and Ja Morant, and, if this quickly proves insufficient to drive them toward contention, the organization could choose to undergo a hard reset in the near future.”

Jackson is one of the most talented big men in the NBA. The Michigan State product secured a massive $240 million extension with the Grizzlies earlier this summer, and rightfully so.

Although the 6-foot-10 forward has a ways to go as a rebounder, he’s a high-impact interior defender, masterful pick-and-roll recipient, no-nonsense low-post operator, and much-improved three-point shooter (allowing him to take defenders off the dribble when they overcommit).

The 2023 Defensive Player of the Year contributed 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game last season, shooting 48.8% from the field and 37.5% from three on the eighth-seeded Grizzlies.

Even with Al Horford likely signing with the Warriors before the start of the 2025-26 season, acquiring Jackson would give the organization a more versatile frontcourt weapon who could help reduce the 39-year-old’s workload significantly.

Bellchamber’s trade concept is undoubtedly a possibility, given the Warriors’ current roster configuration.
