Italy’s star scored 39 points (13/20 FG, 7/10 3PT, 6/7 FT), grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists in his breakout game of the tournament.
39 points is also the Italian single-game scoring record at the EuroBasket, previously held by Andrea Bargnani with 36 points in 2011.
