Andy Pages just matched a feat Dodgers fans haven’t seen since Cody Bellinger

It took little while for Andy Pages to ingratiate himself with Los Angeles Dodgers fans, but a breakout 2025 season now has him in elite company.
Pages is batting .275 with 23 home runs, 22 doubles, 75 RBI, and a .786 OPS this season. Add in his elite defense at a premium position like center field, and Pages is worth 3.5 fWAR. That’s third best among Dodgers players behind only Shohei Ohtani and Will Smith.
Pages is still only 24 years old. He’s only the eighth player in franchise history to be 24 or younger, with 23+ HR, 75+ RBI and 45+ XBH in a season.
That last player to do it was Cody Bellinger in 2019, and the list of Dodgers to accomplish that is pretty impressive.
Bellinger, Matt Kemp, Adrian Beltre, Raul Mondesi, Mike Piazza, Tommy Davis, and Duke Snider are the players to come before him. There are three Hall of Famers on that list.
Pages has saved the Dodgers in 2025
As he matures as a hitter, Pages has the ability to hit 30+ home runs with 30+ doubles on a consistent bases. He still needs to improve his pitch selection, but a loaded Dodgers lineup is helping him get more hittable offerings.
Pages is in the 14th percentile in baseball when it comes to chase rate. He’s also well below average in exit velocity, but his elite launch angle and above-average bat speed help him produce consistent power numbers.
His breakout season has been a saving grace for the Dodgers in 2025. Michael Conforto has been a massive disappointment, as has Mookie Betts, who has fallen off his career norms.
Los Angeles failed to convert on a trade for Steven Kwan or a premium outfielder at the trade deadline, but the emergence of Pages gives them another internal option to lengthen the heart of the order.
As the fourth or fifth best bat in the everyday lineup, Pages is doing his job and then some. He needs more appreciation from Dodgers fans.
Given his age and numbers, we’re witnessing something rare this season.
