Joe Alwyn was in a relationship with the pop star for six years but called it quits in 2023, months before Swift and Kelce’s romance took the world by storm. So following their engagement announcement, many have wondered just what Alwyn thought of the news. Well, if his clothes are any indication, it’s not good.

TMZ spotted the English actor out and about for the first time since the proposal heard ’round the world. He was dressed in head-to-toe blue, which led to the headline blaring: “Joe Alwyn I’m Feeling Blue … Post-Swift Engagement!!!”

Fans are now dissecting if the star’s outfit choice was really a signal about how he’s feeling after his ex-girlfriend and Kelce’s big announcement.

World Fashion Channel noted that blue “is a relative of black, which means that it has both advantages and disadvantages of this color. On the one hand, blue is the color of tranquility; it gives strength and has a healing effect.” But “blue can be prone to depression, melancholy, and isolation.”

Or it could be that Alwyn just likes the color blue, as he’s been photographed in that shade several times before. But for him, the timing is unfortunate since everyone is reading into every move from Kelce and Swift’s exes at the moment.
