The Cincinnati Bearcats began their 2025 college football season with a showdown against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Thursday. However, this one was at Arrowhead Stadium with plenty of eyes on the game.
Cincinnati went 5-7 in Scott Satterfield’s second season as head coach, so the 2025 campaign is a pivotal one for the program. Before the game, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who played college football at Cincinnati, was at his NFL home stadium cheering on his alma mater in a huge showdown against Nebraska.
Travis Kelce’s Pregame Message
Before kickoff against Nebraska, Kelce had a message for the Cincinnati Bearcats football team that was posted on their X account.
“Cincinnati Bearcats,” Kelce shouted. “Man, we’re about to take over Arrowhead, I can feel it, baby. Bearcats always play good at Arrowhead, baby. Proof is in the pudding.”
“Shout out to the ‘Cats, I miss everybody back in Cincinnati. Let’s take this one. Let’s bring this one home, baby,” Kelce concluded.
