On Thursday, August 28, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will host the Battle Sports Kansas City Classic between the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Fans can find important information and reminders regarding Thursday’s game below.
Game Entertainment
The Cincinnati Bearcat Marching Band will perform the game’s National Anthem. While also being known for its contemporary approach and drill design, the Bearcat Marching Band will also serve as the game’s halftime entertainment.
Parking and Traffic
Parking lots for Thursday’s game open at 3:30 p.m. CT. All fans must purchase parking passes in advance at www.gehafieldatarrowhead.com/parking. Fans should access all tickets and passes through www.mychiefsaccount.com or the Chiefs Mobile app prior to arrival. Tickets and parking passes are mobile only and fans are encouraged to save to their mobile wallet for easy access. Fans can track traffic and ongoing MoDOT construction through the KC Scout camera network at www.kcscout.com or can get real-time traffic updates on the WAZE app. Fans are encouraged to plan and arrive early. Guests using rideshare services may drop-off and pick-up at the Missouri Welcome Center located between Gates 1 and 2 on Blue Ridge Cutoff. Fans should expect to see heavy delays due to rush hour traffic on Interstates 435 and 70, as well as streets around the Truman Sports Complex due to the start time of Thursday’s game. Fans are asked to plan in advance and arrive several hours prior to kickoff to avoid rush hour and minimize delays. It is suggested that drivers who are not going to the game but normally travel past the Truman Sports Complex identify an alternative route to avoid rush hour back-ups. Bus and RV Parking

Tune In
Thursday’s game will be broadcast on ESPN with coverage beginning at 8 p.m. CT. The crew of Mark Jones (play-by-play), Roddy Jones (analyst) and Quint Kessenich (sideline analyst) will be on the call. Bearcat fans can tune in to 700WLW and ESPN 1530 with 2019 James Kelly UC Athletics Hall of Famer and Voice of the Bearcats Dan Hoard on the call. All GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. for the 8:05 p.m. kickoff. Tickets For Less Fan Fest
The Tickets For Less Fan Fest, located in Lot M on the north side of the stadium closest to Lancer Lane, will open at 4 p.m. The Tickets For Less Fan Fest is a free space for all fans to enjoy drinks, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment leading up to kickoff. This week it will feature live music from Drew Six and the Soul Plains Drifters as well as DJ Lazer with emcee Spencer Davis. There will also be a Nebraska pep rally featuring AD Troy Dannen, the Husker Scarlet Dance Team & Herbie Husker beginning at 5:40 p.m.
Concessions Value Pricing
GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will once again offer value pricing at select concession locations throughout the stadium. Multiple popular items, including hot dogs, pretzel bites and popcorn – all priced at $5 – will be available at various locations. All concession stands will also have value sodas for $5 and will still have full offerings on top of the value items.
Cashless
All concession stands and retail points of sale are completely cashless. In addition to traditional scan and chip reader options for credit/debit cards, all fixed points of sale offer mobile tap or scan payment options, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. In-stadium hawkers and vendors are credit card only.
