Bryan Danielson Heard Rumors Taylor Swift Was ‘Interested’ In Top AEW Star
Bryan Danielson claimed a top AEW star got the attention of pop artist Taylor Swift.
Kyle Fletcher has gotten the attention of many wrestling fans for a variety of reasons.
Not only does he have the skills, but he also has the looks that got everybody talking about him.
The Protostar has gotten more attention since winning the TNT Championship against Dustin Rhodes in AEW, with Bryan Danielson sharing that he may have even become undeniable for mainstream artist Taylor Swift.
In the latest AEW Forbidden Door 2025 pay-per-view at the O2 Arena in London, Bryan Danielson was present at the commentary table during Kyle Fletcher‘s TNT Championship defense against Hiromu Takahashi. During their exchange, the former World Champion claimed that Taylor Swift was interested in the TNT Champion. When asked by Excalibur where that rumor came from, Danielson answered that it came from Don Callis, The Protostar’s manager.
Danielson: “I heard rumors that there was interest in Kyle Fletcher from Taylor Swift.”
Excalibur: “… Where’d you hear that one?”
Danielson: “From Don.”

Wrestling Veteran Doesn’t Find AEW Star Kyle Fletcher Outstanding
During the match, another thing Bryan Danielson said was how he found the TNT Champion to be a future World Champion material, like many other AEW fans and professionals. However, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell doesn’t share the same perspective.
In an episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell,the titular wrestling veteran discussed Kyle and Dustin Rhodes’ vicious TNT Championship Street Fight. The former WWE manager opened that he didn’t find Kyle Fletcher outstanding, and that the AEW star looked short on television.
Of course, Dustin [Rhodes], I think he likes it, to tell you the truth. But it ended up when Dustin had a lot of blood, the other guy, what was his name, Kyle Fletcher? I’ve never even heard of him, but that was about it. But he’s not different looking. You said he’s about 6’3″. He doesn’t look that big on TV, he looks like he’s like 5’11”, maybe, or no more than 6’0.” I mean, well, TV’s hard to tell anyway, but there was nothing outstanding about the guy.”
