The Kansas City Chiefs are keeping a framed photo of Taylor Swift in their office – or stadium, rather – downtown. The Chiefs recently revamped their “Hall of Honor” at Arrowhead Stadium, now including a not-so-subtle nod to Swift, 35, amid her romance with tight end Travis Kelce.

“New set in the Chiefs Hall of Honor Dan Meers (KC Wolf) mascot is there,” Kansas City sportscaster Harold R. Kuntz, who frequently covers Chiefs games, wrote via X on Friday, August 22. “And a few new pictures in the Photographers’ Room.”

One of the images mounted on a blank wall featured Swift wrapping her arms around Kelce, 35, on the field at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium after his team won the 2024 Super Bowl. Swift and Kelce started dating in the midst of the 2023-2024 season, during which the pop star got a crash course in all things NFL.

“On our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the [Philadelphia] Eagles in the Super Bowl, and he looked across the field across the line of scrimmage and saw his brother standing in front of him,” Swift said on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast earlier this month.

“He didn’t even look at me, like, I now know what an insane question that was.”

Travis and brother Jason Kelce’s respective NFL teams played each other in the 2023 Super Bowl. Jason, a center who retired the next year, and Travis both play offensive positions and were seldom on the field at the same time.

“I thought it was, like, [Detroit Lions quarterback] Jared Goff is here and [Buffalo Bills quarterback] Josh Allen’s here and they close a whistle, and then they go at each other.”

Swift further noted that she didn’t understand downs, chains, covers and even what Travis did as a tight end. As Swift started to get to know Travis, she learned more about the game – and even drafted her own pretend plays. “I fell in love with it, [and] I became obsessed with it,” Swift quipped. ”

I became a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy!’

My friends were like, ‘Who body-snatched you? What do you mean, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy?’ I was freaking out.”

Swift has been a staple at Travis’ games throughout the course of their two-year romance, even celebrating on the field with him when the Chiefs won the 2024 AFC championship and 2024 Super Bowl.

“We’re in the suite, and you just won the AFC Championship [and] we’re freaking out,” Swift recalled to Travis on his podcast. “Everybody’s screaming and his mom goes, ‘All right, let’s go down to the field.’ I was, like, ‘What? We’re doing what? … Did he say that’s OK?’ We hadn’t talked about this.”

Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, then informed Swift that her youngest son would “want [her] there” on the field.

“I’m walking out onto this field, and, like, there’s so many lights,” the Life of a Showgirl artist said. “I’ve never seen this many cameras.

I’ve never seen this much media in my life, and I’ve seen a lot of media. Then, the media sees me and they’re, like, ‘Ah!’ They just start running at me, and I’m looking at [Travis] and you’re screaming into the mic.” She continued,

“It’s one of my most cherished memories ‘cause I was so proud of you. It was so magical [and] it was so fun. It’s crazy to get to see someone you love work that hard, and then have that euphoric payoff.”

Swift returned to Arrowhead for most of the games during the 2024-2025 NFL season, including the AFC championship and the Super Bowl.

While the Chiefs lost the big game to the Eagles, Swift’s romance with Travis hasn’t slowed down in his offseason.

“They found a lot of common ground they were not expecting, and it made their relationship stronger,” a source exclusively told Us Weeklyin an August cover story, adding the couple has “found their counterpart in terms of ambition, work ethic and values.” A second insider also told Us that both Swift and Travis are “genuinely ready” for their next chapter together. “They want to be married and have kids in the future,” the second source said, noting the duo are “on the same page.”
