BREAKING NEWS:I dumped Tottenham for Arsenal, not because of anybody but because of this particular Arsenal player,it has always been my dream to play alongside with Him one day”, Eberechi Eze named the ONE Arsenal player that inspired Him to join Arsenal after completing Arsenal move TODAY – Not Saka and Not Madueke

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have reportedly hijacked Tottenham Hotspur’s move for Crystal Palace attacking mainstay Eberechi Eze.
Tottenham were on the verge of securing the services of Eberechi Eze, having reached an agreement with Crystal Palace. While the North London club were optimistic about completing the deal this week, Fabrizio Romano reports that rivals Arsenal have hijacked the move.

Eze is set to join the Gunners, with all parties having reached a verbal agreement. The England international’s preference for Arsenal over Spurs played a major role in the transfer. He is expected to soon undergo a medical at his new club.

Eberechi Eze has only gone from strength to strength since joining the Eagles back in 2020 from QPR. Not only has he gone on to establish himself as one of their mainstays, but the 27-year-old is also widely regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

While the Englishman still has two years left on his deal at Selhurst Park, Arsenal and Tottenham have been working hard to prise him away this summer. With the player keen on trying a new challenge, the Eagles have been open to a potential departure as long as their financial demands have been met.

With Son Heung-min parting ways with Tottenham and James Maddison out injured for several months, Thomas Frank is desperate to have more firepower in the final third. Eze could have been an exceptional acquisition for them as he can help cover for both.

Arsenal hijack Spurs’ move for Eze
Reports suggested Spurs had an agreement in place with Crystal Palace, and they were only waiting for them to secure a replacement. While everything was in place for Eberechi Eze to join Tottenham, Arsenal reignited their pursuit just in time and have managed to hijack the deal.

Just when he was closing in on a move to Spurs, the Gunners were back in the mix and managed to secure a verbal agreement. The Eagles are set to receive in excess of £60 million from Arsenal, who have beaten Tottenham to his signature.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, everything is in place for the transfer to go through, with an agreement reached between all parties on every aspect of the deal. Both clubs are now exchanging documents, and the move is expected to be completed after Crystal Palace’s Europa Conference League fixture tonight.

The 27-year-old English international is scheduled to undergo his medical at Arsenal on Friday before signing a five-year contract with the Gunners. The final package is valued at £68 million.
