Patrick Mahomes is sharing his initial reaction to teammate Travis Kelce‘s relationship!

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback revealed when Travis confided in him about the fact that he was dating Taylor Swift. During the ESPN docuseries The Kingdom, Patrick shared exactly when Travis revealed their relationship to his teammates – and what he thought!

“He told me during the week,” Patrick revealed, sharing that Travis told his teammate he was in a relationship with the “Fortnight” singer days before she attended her first game in September 2023. “It was one of those where I gotta see it until I believe it.”

Despite initially being hesitant to believe that Travis was telling the truth, Patrick said that he could see that the two of them had a connection once he saw them together in person.

“You definitely felt the buzz and you could see people in the stadium gravitating towards where she was up there,” Patrick said but added that the team needed to focus and couldn’t be distracted by the media frenzy of Taylor attending the game. “At the same time, we had business to handle.”
