Liverpool’s board has set their eyes on the replacement of Andrew Robertson who is not showing the best performance’s under Arne Slot compared in the last seasons where the Scottish defender was one of the main players in the team’s success.
In the recent Liverpool matches, Robertson was left as a substitute for Kostas Tsimikas, who is having a great time under the Dutch manager, starting in seven matches and receiving the ‘Man of the Match’ award in the incredible 2-1 win against Brighton in the league.

The Reds are ready to negotiate with Fulham for their left-back Antonee Robinson who joined the London side in 2020 after completing his move from Wigan. The defender has already shown his qualities since arriving in the Premier League, being a regular starter for the Cottagers.
In the deal between the two teams, Liverpool is expected to offer Kostas Tsimikas plus cash to complete the move of the American left-back. For the moment, Robinson has a value of 40 million pounds, but the Reds could sign him for a smaller amount due to the swap of the two players.
The 27-year-old is having a great start to the season under Marco Silva, starting in each game in the Premier League while helping his team to reach the seventh position before the November’s international break.
On the other hand, Andrew Robertson is being criticized by a lot of football media, after the big expectations of him since the replacement of Jurgen Klopp by Arne Slot.
Currently, Liverpool is placed first in the Premier League and Champions League, showing the high level the Dutch manager has brought to the team since his arrival. The Reds also have the best record in the European top five leagues, conceding only six goals in 11 matches due to the incredible form of their defense.

Arne Slot wants to improve the left-back position by adding a player with experience in the Premier League, and with the signing of Antonee Robinson, the team could secure a player who has a lot of qualities for the next years.
The American has already provided three assists in 11 games for Fulham in the league while being solid in the defense after conceding the same amount of goals as Pep Guardiola’s squad, which has conceded 13 times.
The arrival of a new left-back in Merseyside would be a huge move for the Reds after failing to sign a defender in the last summer transfer window.
