The country star got in a war of words on X on Friday, taunting the team over their loss at this year’s Super Bowl.
“Where are all the three peat people from last year:/,” he wrote, referring to the Chiefs’ hope to be the first time in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
That dream was dashed by the Philadelphia Eagles, Zach’s preferred team.
Fans called Zach out for singling out the “same fanbase that sells out his shows.”
But Zach fired back, “Please understand I will never play in Kansas City.”
He added fuel to the fire, saying, “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”
The “I Remember Everything” singer has played Kansas City several times and even has a track on his album “24 (Live)” titled “Fifth of May – Live from Kansas City.”
When a fan told him to “take us off your live album too,” he quipped, “Done brother.”
Zach tried to play it off as all in good fun, writing, “guys it’s okay to talk trash to each other about football yall are weird as hell.”
