Travis Kelce’s NFL season is getting ready to start, with pregame matchups already underway.

While he seemed to spend much of the offseason with his love, he apparently did manage to accomplish some personal business.

Travis Kelce was spending time in Ohio back in July, and it looks like he and Taylor Swift may be considering a house purchase in the tight end’s home state.

While they are not yet wed or even engaged, we can’t help but think about how they would merge their real estate portfolios. They both own numerous properties, with Swift owning substantially more real estate.

Where were Kelce and Swift recently shopping for a house?

While nothing is set in stone just yet, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were spotted looking at real estate in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, reports Realtor.

According to sources, Kelce and Swift took in the sights around Cleveland and grabbed a bite to eat before touring at least two high-priced properties.

While the insider did not reveal exactly what suburb they were house shopping in, they did spend some time in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, for lunch. Chagrin Falls is one of the wealthiest suburbs in the state.

If they are looking for a home in the area, it wouldn’t be their main residence. At least not now.

Kelce has a home much closer to Arrowhead Stadium for that purpose.

Could he be eying the property for when he eventually retires?

Some fans think so.

Kelce is heading into his 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

While there has been talk about the tight end’s potential retirement, he’sn’t ready to pack it in just yet and has asked everyone to stop talking about it until he makes that decision.

His 13th season would feel like a natural place to stop.

It is Taylor Swift’s lucky number and the same number of seasons his older brother, Jason Kelce, played in the NFL. Jason Kelce announced his retirement in March 2024.

Taylor Swift has a massive real estate portfolio

An Ohio crib might seem like an odd pick for such a high-profile couple, but it really isn’t when you consider Kelce’s connection to the state and Swift’s expansive real estate portfolio.

Swift was just 20 years old when she set down some roots in the city best known for country music.

Swift purchased a $2 million condo on Music Row in Nashville as her first big buy.

Years later, she spent a lot more money on the Samuel Goldwyn Estate in Beverly Hills. She paid around $25 million for the 1930s Georgian Revival mansion in 2015.

Swift also owns a Rhode Island Beach house that was in the news for a more grisly reason recently. She purchased the home in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, in 2013.

She also holds the keys to a Manhattan penthouse to make life a bit easier when business brings her to the city that never sleeps.

Travis Klece bought a new house in 2023

Travis Kelce’s real estate portfolio isn’t anywhere near as expansive as Swift’s.

While he doesn’t own homes across the United States, he turns the key to a pretty nice estate at night. Kelce owns a luxurious 17,000-square-foot French-Regency-inspired mansion in Leawood, Kansas.

Kelce acquired the home in 2023 as an upgrade from the property he purchased in 2019.

According to Architectural Digest, the home sits on 3.5 acres of land and has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a wine cellar, a two-level movie theater, and a resort-style pool.

Before purchasing the pad, he lived in a more modest 10,000-square-foot home in Kansas City, Missouri. The home was still pretty nice, offering seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a wine cellar with bar, a pool, and a gazebo. Kelce purchased it in 2019 for just under $1 million.

He also owns a condo, along with his brother and mother. It was also purchased in 2019. The Orlando vacation spot appears to belong primarily to Donna Kelce. She seems to live there full time.
