FINALLY DONE: Man United complete their last signing of the summer as £80m Netherland striker joins Man United on a Five years deal

Manchester United are set to enter a bidding war with Newcastle United to secure the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

As per reports going on in the media, the Magpies have already seen a massive bid rejected and the Red Devils are ready to match the offer for the center forward (Sky Germany).

According to a story published by Bild today, the Tyneside club submitted a bid worth £70million (80 million euros – 75 million euros fixed and 5 million euros in add-ons).

So, Manchester United are also ready to bid £70million, however, the point to note is that the offer made by NUFC was turned down by the German Bundesliga club.

Bild claim that Leipzig want a package of £74million (85 million euros – 75 million euros fixed and 10 million euros in add-ons).

Moreover, the Red Bull club also expect an agreement involving a sell-on clause for the Slovenian international.

The new Premier League campaign will start in less than two weeks and both Manchester United and Newcastle are desperately looking to add a striker, with Sesko, a priority.

The Old Trafford outfit only scored 44 goals in the PL last term and their strikers only managed to find the net a combined 7 times.

On the other hand, Isak scored 23 league goals for Eddie Howe but he is not currently training with the squad and has his heart set on a move to Liverpool.

22-year-old Sesko has so far contributed in 34 goals in 64 Bundesliga appearances and is yet to hit his peak.

It remains to be seen whether the striker would move to Man Utd or choose to play in the Champions League with Newcastle.
