🚨 BREAKING: Jaylon Moore Turns Heads at Chiefs Camp as Ultimate Utility Weapon!

Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Jaylon Moore was initially signed this offseason to be Patrick Mahomes’ blindside protector, with the franchise struggling to protect No. 15 last season.

Moore, a four-year backup with the San Francisco 49ers, was seen as a starter, but then the Chiefs doubled down on the left tackle position and drafted Josh Simmons in the first round to give some serious competition to the free agent signing.

Some could take that as a slap in the face, but for Moore, as the training camp grind continues, he isn’t fussed, instead focusing on being the best player he can be for the team.

Kansas City Chiefs merchandise“It’s NFL things happen,” Moore said. “I’m just trying to be in the best position to kind of help move the team forward and just be as good as I can be.”

What has also been rather interesting for Moore is that he’s taken reps at guard in camp, something that would have surprised people, but with Kingsley Suamataia, a fellow left tackle, shifting inside to guard, it is clear Andy Reid wants his offensive line to be fluid.

But being a tackle for four years, to make the transition inside isn’t a simple one, but Jaylon is taking it in his stride as he looks to consolidate his spot on the roster.

“It’s newer, it’s football,” Moore added. “The biggest thing is just keep trying to take steps forward, just keep trying to improve, looking at looking at the film, trying to improve every day.”

NFL merchandiseGiven how injuries rendered the Chiefs’ offensive line a turnstile last year, having players who can play multiple positions will be key in avoiding that happening in 2025.
