Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are gearing up for another NFL season, looking to avenge February’s Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Now entering their ninth season as teammates, their friendship has grown well beyond football. Even their families have become close, with Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, often seen sitting in a suite at Kansas City Chiefs games alongside Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes.
The quarterback-tight end duo has also entered into a business venture together, as they will soon open up a restaurant called 1587 Prime Steakhouse with hospitality group Noble 33. The restaurant is located in Kansas City and has a grand opening set for later this summer, before the 2025 NFL season begins.
Donna Kelce’s Feelings Towards It
Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, visited Kansas City this past weekend to see her son at Chiefs training camp. While in town, she made her rounds across the city and even stopped by the front of 1587 Prime on Monday.
The 72-year-old took to Facebook to share her excitement ahead of the restaurant’s grand opening.
“Can’t wait for Patrick’s & Travis’ steakhouse to open in the first floor of Loew’s hotel in Kansas City!!!” Donna Kelce said.

About 1587 Prime
The steakhouse takes its name from Mahomes and Kelce’s jersey numbers—15 and 87. The space will span 10,000 square feet across two floors and will feature a meat display, private dining rooms, and an area dedicated to the two Chiefs players’ accolades.
When the restaurant concept was officially set in motion in March 2024, Mahomes shared, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.”
Kelce echoed that excitement, saying, “We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own Kansas City,” Kelce said in a statement.”
