Taylor Swift Supported by Mariska Hargitay, Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott at 3rd Toronto Eras Tour Show

The 14-time Grammy winner also brought Gracie Abrams on stage for a surprise mashup of their song “Us” and Swift’s track “Out of the Woods”

Taylor Swift is halfway done with her six Eras Tour shows in Toronto!

On Saturday, Nov. 16, the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” singer, 34, electrified the sold-out crowd at Toronto’s Rogers Centre with her career-spanning 45-song setlist, which included two surprise mashups and some famous faces in the crowd.

Mariska Hargitay — whose character on Law & Order: SVU, Olivia Benson, Swift famously named one of her Scottish fold cats after in 2014 — posted a cute snap on Instagram on Saturday showing herself and her husband Peter Hermann at the concert.

“Taylor” Hargitay, 60, captioned the post. Earlier she had showcased her arm covered in friendship bracelets — a staple at Eras Tour shows — in another Instagram snap, which she captioned, “Toronto And that’s just one hand….. 💖🙏🏼📿.”

The actress is a longtime fan of the singer, having also named her own cat Karma after Swift in late 2023.

Fans also shared photos of Zooey Deschanel and fiance Jonathan Scott in the audience at the show in posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday night.

In one snap posted on X the New Girl actress, 44, could be seen wearing a blue jacket with a black collar and a black headband, while Scott, 46, wore a brown jacket and black shirt.

In another television connection, Swift famously made a cameo in New Girl in the show’s second season, as a character called Elaine.

During the show Swift brought out her support act Gracie Abrams for an acoustic guitar mashup of their song “us” and Swift’s 1989 track “Out of the Woods.” The pop superstar followed the duet with a solo acoustic piano mashup of “You’re On Your Own, Kid” from Midnights and “long story short” from Evermore.

The acoustic moments came during the surprise songs segment, which sees Swift select two songs or create two new mashups at every tour stop specifically for that night’s audience to build a unique memory for them.

Two days earlier on Nov. 14, the Reputation singer gifted two other surprise mashups for the first Toronto crowd: “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” with “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” on guitar, plus “False God” with “’tis the damn season” on piano.

Then, the 14-time Grammy winner delivered two more mashups on Nov. 15, blending “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” with “Mine” on guitar, followed by “evermore” and ”Peter” on piano.

Swift received a warm welcome to Canada ahead of her six-show run in Toronto, with Rogers Centre wrapping the stadium with a giant Eras Tour friendship bracelet that was ceremoniously passed on from the past two Eras Tour venues in Indianapolis and New Orleans.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also ushered in Swift’s visit with a Reputation-inspired welcome message on X (formerly Twitter).

“We’re ready for you, @taylorswift13. Good choice wrapping the Eras Tour in Canada. Has this always been your endgame? #TorontoVancouver,” Trudeau wrote, referencing Swift’s songs “…Ready For It?” and “End Game” featuring Ed Sheeran and Future.

Ahead of her third Toronto performance on Saturday, Swift teased the physical release of TTPD: The Anthology as well as the Eras Tour book. “Just 13 days til The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD AND The Official Eras Tour Book are all available for the first time ever at @target! 🎁 🤍. International info coming soon 🫶,” she wrote on Instagram.

Swift will end the Eras Tour, which started in March 2023, with three more shows in Toronto and then three final shows in Vancouver.

Fans are speculating that, before the tour ends or at the final show on Dec. 8, Swift might release Reputation (Taylor’s Version) and/or Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) — the re-releases of her sixth and first studio albums.

Since starting the tour 20 months ago, Swift has released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in July 2023, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in October 2023 and her 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department in April 2024.
