BREAKING NEWS!! Kansas City Chiefs Signing Idea Lands $29 Million All-Pro To Replace Key Starter

Kansas City Chiefs Marquise Brown

The Kansas City Chiefs have found incredible ways to stay undefeated through the middle of the season. The Chiefs blocked a field goal against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 10 to improve to 9-0 on the season.

The Chiefs will face arguably their toughest test in 2024 when they travel to play the 8-2 Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium. Kansas City will find out if their roster additions in recent weeks are enough or if they could add extra firepower before January.

The Chiefs traded for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and pass rusher Josh Uche before the Nov. 5 deadline. Kansas City attempted to trade for cornerback Marshon Lattimore, but they were outbid by the Washington Commanders.

Cornerback is a need for the Chiefs after the team lost Jaylen Watson for the season due to a broken fibula and tibia. Bleacher Report recently published a signing idea for the Chiefs that would make sense after missing on Lattimore at the deadline. Kansas City could bring back Marcus Peters:

“The only major need that went unaddressed is the lack of cornerback depth. The Chiefs are going to need cornerbacks not named Trent McDuffie to play well for the team to threepeat as Super Bowl champs. Marcus Peters did not look good for the Raiders last season, but Peters spent the first three years of his career in Kansas City. Playing for a contender could give him just a little more life as he finishes out his career.”

The Chiefs drafted Peters in the first round of the 2015 draft. He played in Kansas City for three years before the Chiefs traded him to the Los Angeles Rams. He’s spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders. Peters has made over $29 million in his career, per Over The Cap.

Peters has earned All-Pro honors three times and has made three Pro Bowl appearances. The former Washington Huskies standout has played in 116 games and started in 115. At 31, Peters has recorded 389 tackles, 11 forced fumbles, 33 interceptions and 97 passes defensed in his nine-year NFL career.
