Mets’ Brooks Raley to begin rehab Saturday with Rumble Ponies

MLB News: Brooks Raley Reportedly Eyed by Yankees, Cubs amid Multiyear Contract TalksBINGHAMTON, NY (WBNG) –New York Mets relief pitcher Brooks Raley will continue his rehab from Tommy John surgery Saturday in the Southern Tier. The big leaguer will make a rehab appearance with the Rumble Ponies against the Portland SeaDogs.

The righty is coming back going under the knife in May of 2024. Raley’s taken the mound on three occasions with Single-A Port St. Lucie. In three innings pitched, he has struck out three, and only giving up three hit with no runs allowed.

Raley broke into the bigs in 2012 with the Chicago Cubs. He also played for Houston, and Tampa before being signed by the Mets in 2023.
