Manchester United Finalizing £110M Deal for Bryan Mbeumo and Set to Welcome Diego Leon on July 1

Manchester United are on the brink of securing a high-profile transfer for Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo, valued at £110 million, with the player reportedly completing his medical. According to talkSPORT’s Anil Kandola, an official announcement is expected within a week.

The Cameroon international has been linked with United for several weeks. Despite rumors suggesting a possible reunion with his former manager Thomas Frank at Tottenham Hotspur, Mbeumo is set on a move to Old Trafford. Personal terms and agreement with Brentford are not expected to be obstacles, and a six-year deal is already in place.

Meanwhile, Paraguayan talent Diego Leon is set to officially become a Manchester United player on July 1, according to VSports Team. The club reached a pre-contract agreement with the teenage left-back during the winter after he passed medical evaluations.

Leon, who recently turned 18, could not be signed in January due to Brexit regulations that prevent Premier League clubs from registering underage foreign players. The pre-agreement ensured United didn’t lose out on the promising defender.

Despite only 33 senior appearances for Club Cerro Porteño, Leon has shown strong potential—averaging over four duels won, 2.7 recoveries, and 2.6 clearances per game. He also registers more than one successful tackle each match. While his ball control remains an area for development, his overall performances have marked him as a future star.

Leon’s arrival could impact Harry Amass, who impressed as backup to Patrick Dorgu earlier this year. If Leon joins the senior squad, Amass might be sent out on loan for regular first-team action. This move could also influence the future of Tyrell Malacia, who ended last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven and may be sold permanently this summer
