Taylor Swift easily puts her own spin on clothing.
From backwards skirts to inside-out tops, Swift is no stranger to wearing — and rocking — items any way she wants.
In October 2023, Swift flipped a Khaite Keene Leather Mini Skirt ($2,100) around and wore the piece backwards while holding hands with boyfriend Travis Kelce in New York City. While the silver zipper was intended to be worn in the front, Swift opted for a sleek look with her sheer green Fleurs Petit Grand Print Mesh Top from Jean Paul Gaultier and spun it to her bum.
She again went rogue in January 2020, wearing a Free People Stay All Night Dress ($148) backwards while filming her Miss Americana documentary for Netflix. Instead of rocking the red patterned belt on her hips, she let it cascade down her back, proving that she can pull anything off. (She’s Taylor Swift, so of course she can!)
Although it’s unknown if Swift is knowingly wearing items backwards, keep scrolling to see every time Swift marched to the beat of her own fashion drums:
