UPDATE: Dodgers Making $100 Million Changes to Dodger Stadium Following 2024 Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced on social media that they will conduct renovations on Level One of Dodger Stadium this offseason. These renovations will include renovating the clubhouse, and will be done before the start of the 2025 MLB season.

Dodger Stadium, which opened over 60 years ago in 1962, has undergone renovations multiple times over the decades since the Dodgers moved to Los Angeles. Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest stadium in MLB only behind Fenway Park and Wrigley Field.

These renovations help to modernize the stadium, and the current updates are valued at approximately $100 million.

Dodger Stadium most recently underwent major renovations in 2021, when the organization turned the area behind center field into the Centerfield Plaza. This plaza features restaurants, a speakeasy, and multiple statues, improving the experience of visiting fans.

Since Guggenheim Baseball Management bought the Dodgers in 2012, the Dodgers have made multiple changes to the Dodger Stadium. These renovations have included updating the video boards, concession stands, bathrooms, and creating better spaces across the stadium.

The Dodgers have also unveiled statues for legends Jackie Robinson and Sandy Koufax during this time.

The Dodgers did renovate the clubhouse and weight room in 2012 when the current ownership group took over, but the facilities are getting another makeover 12 years and two World Series titles later.

The Dodgers will begin the 2025 season on March 18-19. Their season starts abroad for the Tokyo Series against the Chicago Cubs, similar to the 2024 season when Los Angeles began the year with the Seoul Series in South Korea.

The newly renovated Dodger Stadium will make its debut on March 27 on Opening Day, as the Dodgers face the Detroit Tigers.
