Arsenal Agree Deal to Sign €100M Striker Compared to Thierry Henry

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to sign a marquee striker for a fee in the region of €100 million (£85m), with an official announcement expected imminently. The player, who has drawn comparisons to Gunners legend Thierry Henry due to his playing style and clinical finishing, is set to become one of the club’s most expensive signings in history.

While the identity of the striker remains unconfirmed, strong speculation points towards **Victor Osimhen (Napoli)** or **Alexander Isak (Newcastle United)** as the primary targets. Osimhen, Napoli’s talismanic forward, has a €120m release clause, but recent reports suggest Arsenal could negotiate a slightly lower fee. Meanwhile, Isak, who has impressed in the Premier League, has been labeled as a “Henry-esque” forward due to his pace, technique, and ability to play across the front line.

Another name linked is **RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško**, a younger option with a high ceiling, though his €65m valuation falls short of the reported £99m figure. Alternatively, **Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres** has also been mentioned, but his playstyle differs from the traditional Henry comparison.

With Arsenal keen to bolster their attack after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title, this signing could be a statement of intent ahead of the 2024/25 season. Fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation, with some sources suggesting an announcement could come within the next 48 hours.
