The Kansas City Chiefs will start mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, June 17, but they are returning to the facility a day early for a very special occasion.

As they do yearly, Kansas City held its media production day for the 2025 NFL season before the team’s mandatory minicamp begins. It’s an exciting day for the players as the team shoots virtually all of the production and promotional media for the upcoming season.

They’ll take pictures and videos of all the players on the roster. These media pieces will be used for the NFL and the team’s promotional materials. They’ll get everything from headshots, pregame player introduction videos, photos for print materials, photos and videos for exclusive team partnerships, and more.

It’s an exhilarating day for Chiefs players, but it’s also fun for fans, as they will get a sneak peek at some of the team’s newest members wearing their full uniforms and pads for the first time.

The top reply to the above image and video came from Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy, who wrote: “How did y’all make this that fast😂😂😂😂”

Worthy himself was featured in a post on X and an Instagram reel, which the team later shared.

Some players took to their social media pages to share images and videos from production day, including an ominous message from Chiefs DE Charles Omenihu, who captioned his photo with: “Prove it.”
