Bills radio host just gave the most baseless Patrick Mahomes take yet

AFC Divisional Playoffs: Houston Texans v Kansas City Chiefs

It wouldn’t surprise anyone for a Buffalo Bills fan to say they don’t like Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. For one, while the Bills have always been able to handle K.C. in the regular season, they don’t win the games that matter, which are the ones that take place in the playoffs.

Since Mahomes became the Chiefs’ starting quarterback and Josh Allen became the Bills’ starting quarterback, their teams have met in the postseason four times. Mahomes and the Chiefs have won all four of those games. If you take Allen’s playoff losses to the Chiefs out of his postseason record, he’d be 7-2 in the playoffs.

You can add Sarah Stockford of 100.9 The Mitt to the list of people in Buffalo who loathe Mahomes and she even went so far as to say that the Chiefs quarterback is overrated.

“Patrick Mahomes is the most overrated quarterback in the league,” Stockford said. “I’m completely out on him. I’m completely out on the Chiefs. Once they made a Hallmark movie, I was like, ‘Forget it.’ I don’t like him. I think Josh Allen’s a better quarterback. He’s 6-5. He can play in cold weather, and I’m just completely out on Patrick Mahomes. I think he’s the influencer of the NFL. I feel like people just like overhype him up and then that’s why they win so many games.”

Bills radio host says Patrick Mahomes is overrated

The funniest thing here is that A) Mahomes didn’t appear in the Chiefs’ Hallmark movie and B) The Bills are getting their own Hallmark movie this year. Is Stockford also going to be out on her favorite quarterback when that movie hits the Hallmark channel? I’m guessing not.

Look, people can say what they want about Mahomes’ declining numbers in recent years but you know what he and the Chiefs have that Allen and the Bills don’t? Super Bowl rings, and three of them at that. They’ve been to five Super Bowls since Mahomes became the starter while Allen has been to zero.

It’s easy to understand why Bills fans dont like Mahomes but just say you don’t like him because he beats your team in the playoffs and wins Super Bowls. Don’t blame it on a Hallmark movie.

Gotta love the offseason, right?
