The question is, what real estate does Taylor Swift own, and where will the pop star retreat to, now that she can breathe?

Swift is many things: A singer, songwriter, activist, producer, performer, and real estate mogul.

Her empire of homes is reportedly worth roughly $150 million and includes properties in Tennessee, California, New England, and Europe.

Her many homes reflected her many “eras”—some she still lives in (maybe secretly with her boyfriend Travis Kelce?), and others she’s since bid farewell to. We break down her full portfolio below.

Swift wasted no time planting roots in the Music City once her career took off.

The Fortnight singer was only 20 years old in 2009 when she purchased the 3,240-square-foot condo in Nashville’s renowned Adelicia building.

The pad is clad in floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of the city.

It also boasts three bedrooms and is furnished with hardwood pieces, richly patterned rugs, and an electric fireplace. Later that year, she bought the unit below.

More than a decade later, Swift still owns the properties, which are estimated to be worth over $2.9 million.

A Greek Revival Estate in Nashville

In 2011, Swift bought a second Nashville home, affectionately known as the Northumberland Estate, for $2.5 million.

The home’s main house spans 5,600 square feet, while its guesthouse measures 2,000 square feet of living space, both of which sit on six acres of property.

Interior design features include vaulted ceilings, herringbone floors, and multiple marble fireplaces. Swift still owns the estate today.

A Four-Bedroom House in Beverly Hills

Also in 2012, Swift put down roots in Beverly Hills with the purchase of a four-bedroom, four-bathroom ranch.

The home was built in the 1950s and has maintained its midcentury-modern aesthetic. Interior design features of note include white beamed ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a climate-controlled wine cellar that can hold up to 1,000 bottles. Swift bought the home for about $1.8 million and sold it for $2.65 million.

A Massachusetts Mansion Neighboring the Kennedys

From 2012 to 2013, Swift owned a cozy mansion in Cape Cod next to the Kennedy compound. The move was strategic; the singer was dating Conor Kennedy at the time.

She paid $5 million for the seven-bedroom abode, but sold it for $5.67 million just months later, following their split.

Swift bought one of her most famous properties to date in 2013: An 11,700-square-foot, 1930s Colonial-style mansion in the tony Watch Hill neighborhood of Westerly, R.I.

The home was previously owned by composer and socialite Rebekah Harkness (the muse behind Swift’s song “The Last Great American Dynasty”) and is comprised of seven bedrooms, eight fireplaces, a pool, and breathtaking shore views. Public building permits reveal Swift’s plans to renovate and expand the mansion with the addition of a 16-by-24-foot bedroom, new bathrooms, and a makeover of the kitchen. The project’s estimated cost is $1.7 million.

A Second Beverly Hills Address

In 2015, Swift bought her second Beverly Hills property for $25 million: A 10,982-square-foot mansion that was previously owned by film producer Samuel Goldwyn.

The home was built in 1934. Swift restored it upon her purchase, and it is currently being turned into a historic landmark, per Swift’s request.

Three Units and a Townhouse in Tribeca’s Sugar Loaf Building

In 2014, Swift bought two units in Tribeca’s Sugar Loaf Building. She later added a third unit, plus their adjacent townhome, to her portfolio in 2017.

Why so many units? Swift is building a private garage via renovations so she can access her apartment without having to set foot outside. In addition to a private garage, the multiple pads comprise a whopping 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a billiard room, a statement-making staircase, a home theater, a home gym, and a private terrace.

While Swift was in the midst of her Tribeca renovations between 2016 and 2017, she rented a four-bedroom home at 23 Cornelia Street (the same Cornelia Street her heartbreak song is based on).

The brick townhouse was built in 1870 and features four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, double-height ceilings, Parisian brickwork, chandeliers, and an indoor pool. It’s unclear what Swift’s rent was at the time, but it is listed at $45,000 per month at the time of publication.

In 2021, Swift shared a six-bedroom townhouse with then-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. Details are scarce, but it’s valued at about $8.6 million.
