And with 14 goals this season in a Juventus side that has struggled for attacking fluidity, his numbers are more impressive than they look at first glance. What excites me most is his ability to mix physicality with finesse—something we’ve lacked up top. Jesus is silky and presses well, but he’s never been a 20-goal-a-season man. Vlahovic could be that, especially in an Arteta system filled with service from Ødegaard and Saka.

There’s also something symbolic about this potential move—it would show we’re not just building for the future anymore; we’re ready to challenge now. We’ve waited long enough to return to the top of English football. Maybe Vlahovic is the missing piece.
