NEW YORK – June 3, 2025 – Forbes today unveiled its 10th Anniversary list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, the definitive ranking of the country’s 100 wealthiest women who have created their own fortunes and made a name for themselves. For the eighth year in a row, manufacturing mogul Diane Hendricks tops the list as chairman and owner of building materials firm ABC Supply, coming in this year with a record high estimated net worth of $22.3 billion, up from $20.9 billion in 2024.

“This 10th anniversary list showcases the varied ways that women have made their mark in business in the last decade, founding or expanding companies in male-dominated industries, from sports to tech and AI to finance,” said Kerry A. Dolan, Assistant Managing Editor, Wealth, Forbes.

The number of billionaires on the this year’s list hit a record high 38 – up from 31 billionaires last year, including media mogul Oprah Winfrey, former chief operating officer of Meta Sheryl Sandberg, , superstar singer Taylor Swift, reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian and cofounder and co-CEO of Panda Express Peggy Cherng. Scale AI cofounder, Lucy Guo, also became the youngest self-made woman billionaire in the world at age 30 by holding onto her stake in the company, dethroning Taylor Swift.
