The NBA Playoffs are still underway despite the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers having both already been eliminated from contention.
They were both knocked out by the same team, too, as the Minnesota Timberwolves eliminated both the Warriors and Lakers.
The Warriors found a building block with Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green leading the way. However, changes are still needed within the squad to ensure title contention
The Lakers, who acquired Luka Doncic in a jaw-dropping trade mid-season, are in a similar boat of needing to build their roster out.
Both teams share a similar need, too, as both have a glaring need for a viable big man and additional floor spacing.
There is one key name that is consistently on the trade market, too. Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner is always tossed around for teams needing to make changes.
That will be no different this offseason, either, despite the Pacers’ current deep postseason run.

In fact, it’s been reported by ESPN’s Kevin Pelton that both the Warriors and Lakers could be in the running to make a “complicated” sign-and-trade for Turner.
There is a caveat, though. This situation only comes to fruition if a deal falls through for Turner with the Pacers. Given the center has spent his entire career with Indiana, there might be a hometown discount in play for Turner and the club.
If he does happen to hit the market, the Warriors might have more ammunition to strike such a deal, using Jonathan Kuminga as a young trade chip with star potential, along with draft capital.
Golden State would address both size and shooting with Turner, making him a dream target this offseason. It’s unlikely to happen, though, as the Pacers have done a remarkable job at building an Eastern Conference contending team.
The Warriors, regardless, will be active on the phone this offseason, aiming to build around Curry and co.
