Kirk Cousins weighed in on those shirtless photos of Travis Kelce with back hair, exclusively telling E! News at Universal’s Epic Universe, “God bless Taylor Swift for being good with that.”
Kirk Cousins is in awe of Taylor Swift‘s fearlessness.
Amid online buzz over shirtless photos of Travis Kelce rocking back hair, the Atlanta Falcons quarterback had some enchanting words for the “Blank Space” singer, who’s been dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end since 2023.
“God bless Taylor Swift for being good with that,” Kirk told E! News cohost Keltie Knight during an exclusive interview at the May 21 grand opening of Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Fla. “That’s awesome. Good for her.”
The 36-year-old added that Travis’ thick mane is not related to football, but rather it’s likely “just genetics.”
“Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with that, but I’m in a locker room a lot,” he quipped in the interview, airing on E! May 22 at 11 p.m. “That’s just a part of life. It is what it is.”
It’s a sentiment shared by Travis, who has been outspoken about his hairy tendencies.
“I’m a furry son of the b—h,” he quipped on the May 21 episode of his New Heights podcast, explaining why he was wearing two shirts while recording the episode. “Me and heat just don’t do well together.”
In fact, the 35-year-old has even embraced his fuzzy figure over the years. Not only does he call himself “Big Yeti,” but he and brother Jason Kelce—who also hasn’t been shy about his own body hair—have been selling T-shirts bearing the nickname on their New Heights online store.

So, how did Travis earn the moniker? “When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit,” Jason, 37, explained on a 2022 episode. “And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there’s shirts and skins.”
And having what Travis called sizeable amounts of “chest hair, back hair, arm hair, leg hair” meant he turned heads whenever he played on the shirtless team.
“I had the big beard, I had the long hair,” Travis explained. “It’s just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me ‘Big Yeti.’”
