Taylor Swift made an incredible donation before leaving Dublin
Taylor Swift’s Dublin gigs may have helped boost the economy with thousands flocking to the city for her sold-out Aviva shows.
Experts claim the shows helped bolster €300m for the local economy.
However, before leaving the Emerald Isle, the singer made sure to donate a huge sum of money to charity.
Swift has done this in every city she has visited, including Edinburgh, Liverpool, and London.
According to Irish Mail on Sunday, the Cruel Summer singer donated €25,000 to a food charity in Ireland.
However, the name of the charity has not been disclosed.
Swift is known for being incredibly generous, especially amid the success of the Eras Tour.
Last December, it was reported that the singer gave €55 million in bonuses to the crew working on her tour.
The millions were shared among Swift’s dancers, band, sound technicians, truckers, riggers, and catering crew.
Taylor Swift played three sold-out shows at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium in June.
The singer praised the Irish crowds for giving her and her team such an incredible welcome.
Writing on Instagram, the All Too Well singer said:
“I knew as soon as I saw the first Dublin crowd on Friday night that we were in for a wild weekend… the spirit of those 3 glorious crowds embodied fun and joy and exuberance, and we just felt so lucky to be there.
“The Irish fans made us feel so at home, so welcome in every way. Still smiling thinking about it now.”
