CONFIRM: Kansas City Chiefs Heiress Gracie Hunt Announces Relationship with Son of Former Quarterback

Any NFL fan, but particularly fans of the Kansas City Chiefs, are well-familiar with the high-profile relationship between 10-time Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce and 14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift.

The couple, who have been publicly dating for roughly two years, have dominated headlines due to the Chiefs’ success on the field and Swift’s stature as one of the most successful musical artists of all time.

But this offseason, Kelce and Swift have been laying low. The Chiefs tight end is focused on preparing for what very well could be his final NFL season, and he wants to end his career with another Super Bowl victory. Swift, on the other hand, is spending some time out of the spotlight after being on tour for much of last year.

While the pair will undoubtedly make headlines again when the season begins, another member of the Chiefs organization has begun a relationship of her own, and with someone connected to the franchise.

Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, and heiress to the family fortune, announced recently that she is currently dating Derek Green.

And if that name sounds familiar to the Kansas City faithful, that is because Derek is the son of Trent Green, who was the Chiefs’ starting quarterback from 2001-2006.

Hunt had previously hinted that she was in a relationship, but the identify of her new beau remained unknown to the public. But one of her Instagram posts from earlier this week clearly identifies Hunt’s boyfriend as Derek Green:

The above Instagram post contains a series of photos, including six with Green.

Her caption reads, “My heart is full. Grateful for some much-needed time to rest, reflect, and reset after a whirlwind few months post-football season. So thankful for time with the people who keep me grounded, remind me I’m loved, and never fail to make me laugh. Swipe for a few favorite snapshots from life lately.”

Obviously, Hunt and Green first met while the latter’s father was playing quarterback for Kansas City. They have known each other for over seven years at this point.
