Breaking!! NFL playoff picture: Chiefs lead AFC, Lions lead NFC postseason races after tight wins in Week 10

Week 10 of the NFL season is almost in the books, and the playoff picture is taking shape.

The Kansas City Chiefs blocked a field goal as time expired to beat the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon and remain undefeated on the year at 9-0. They hold a commanding lead in the AFC West and are on pace to earn the bye in the AFC.

In the NFC, the Detroit Lions rallied and put up 19 unanswered points to beat the Houston Texans 26-23 on Sunday night on a game-winning field goal. They’ve won seven straight games and hold the top spot in the NFC. That win came despite quarterback Jared Goff throwing five interceptions.

Here’s a look at where things stand playoff-wise in the NFL as Week 10 of the season wraps up.
