The Golden State Warriors are officially eliminated from the NBA playoffs.
Golden State suffered a 121-110 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of the second-round series. After winning Game 1, the Warriors lost four straight games.
While the Timberwolves played great in the second round, Golden State’s struggles may also link back to the absence of Stephen Curry.
Curry played in Game 1, logging 13 minutes before going down with a hamstring injury. He finished that game with 13 points, one rebound and one assist.
The Warriors star was on the sideline for Game 5, watching his team be eliminated from the NBA playoffs.
After the game, Curry met with Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards on the court. The two shared a hug and a short conversation before going their separate ways.
