Anthony Edwards Revealed What He Told Steph Curry During Game 4 of Playoff Series

The Golden State Warriors are officially eliminated from the NBA playoffs.

Golden State suffered a 121-110 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of the second-round series. After winning Game 1, the Warriors lost four straight games.

While the Timberwolves played great in the second round, Golden State’s struggles may also link back to the absence of Stephen Curry.

Curry played in Game 1, logging 13 minutes before going down with a hamstring injury. He finished that game with 13 points, one rebound and one assist.

The Warriors star was on the sideline for Game 5, watching his team be eliminated from the NBA playoffs.

After the game, Curry met with Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards on the court. The two shared a hug and a short conversation before going their separate ways.

Upon the release of the video, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the postgame interaction between Stephen Curry and Anthony Edwards.

“Steph looks so sad. He saw food,” said one fan.

“At least Wolves were good guys Rockets down to the coach were dirty so we glad to shut them down. we wouldn’t get that from Ant, Randle, Donte, Gobert, etc,” said another fan.

“Stephen Curry Anthony Edwards Respeto, mucho respeto,” mentioned one fan.

“¡RESPECT! Edwards Curry,” posted the NBA Mexico account.

“Anthony Edwards, Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler all showing love after a hard fought series,” said one fan.

“They botched the Anthony Edwards and Steph Curry hug on the broadcast,” said another fan.

Curry finished the season with the Golden State Warriors averaging 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

Anthony Edwards, on the other hand, will continue his hunt for an NBA title.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star posted 22 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists in the team’s Game 5 victory.
