A new court filing states that the actress Blake Lively threatened Taylor Swift to publicly support her side in a sexual harassment case lest Lively release “private texts of a personal nature” sent by Swift.

The nasty Hollywood lawsuit is supposed to be between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. But as much as it appears that the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, wants to stay out of the legal battle …

They keep dragging her back in.

And Kelce finds himself being dragged into the ugly mess as well.

The latest? A new court filing that states that the actress Lively threatened Swift to publicly support her side lest Lively release “private texts of a personal nature” sent by Swift.

A lawyer for Lively calls the charge “categorically false.”

In theory, Swift’s texts being exposed could be damaging or at least embarrassing to all involved – Kelce included.

With Lively filing a lawsuit against Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment, Swift, who is friends with Blake, has done her utmost to stay out of any legal proceedings, reportedly wanting nothing to do with it.

But now, that might be about to change. It is alleged that during the filming of “It Ends With Us,” Lively allegedly used Swift’s name to try to make Baldoni change things in the movie.

According to PEOPLE, Baldoni’s legal team might subpoena celebrities which includes Swift, something that Lively’s lawyer Mike Gottlieb, doesn’t understand at all.

“It’s completely unclear what claims or defenses in the case any of these celebrities… have any relevance to at all,” Gottlieb said via PEOPLE. “This is a case about what happened to Blake Lively when she raised claims of sexual harassment on the set. It’s not a case about how songs were chosen for the movie. It’s not a case about fictional Marvel characters in Deadpool movies.”

“You have to ask the question, then, why are these people being subpoenaed? Do they have any actual relevance to the case at hand? You can’t just go around subpoenaing people because they’re famous and you think it will generate a bunch of headlines. And the federal courts don’t tolerate that kind of behavior.”

It is unclear whether Swift will be asked to attend court, but there is a growing feeling that, after all of her attempts to avoid being involved in the legal case, she might not have a choice in the matter.

Part of the fallout here includes Kelce reportedly separating himself from a friendship with Lively’s actor husband Ryan Reynolds.

However, with this latest development, these calm seas might be about to get rather stormy.
